“Worry about yourself!” My new favorite 3-year old.
I have tried talking to him, ignored the situation, threatened to leave, but nothing changes. I’ve tried to get him to go to counseling, but he won’t go. I have told him what I need until I am blue in the face, but he won’t do it. Nothing’s ever going to change.

When there’s an ongoing struggle in our relationship, here’s what most of us do:
We complain to our partner about all the things we want them to change so that we can feel happy again in the relationship. And then we wait for that change to come.
As they say….don’t hold your breath.
No one changes just because you want them to.
