“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.” Theodore Roosevelt
Each year, we make commitments to ourselves…
We will eat healthier…
We will save more money…
We will take better care of ourselves in some way shape or form.
But after the year we’ve all been through, maybe next year is the year that we aim a little higher:
Maybe next year is the year that you finally get the clarity you need about your marriage.
Maybe next year is the year that you know whether or not the marriage can evolve beyond where it is today…
And maybe it’s the year you finally close one chapter in order to start another.
If we’ve learned anything from 2020, it’s that life is precious…it is short…and for many of us, we’re not messing around anymore.
We’re no longer willing to make excuses for ourselves in order to make everyone else comfortable (comfort went out the window by March or April).
We’re no longer willing to look away and make things okay that clearly are not okay with us (there were so many things we couldn’t look away from this year).
We’re no longer willing to attempt to overlook or accommodate hurtful or bad behavior from those closest to us – not our husbands, not our parents, not the people we thought were friends.
So if 2021 is the year you get crystal-clear about whether or not this marriage can evolve to a place that can feel good for you – or NOT – then I want to help support you in gaining that confidence and understanding so that you’re moving forward in one direction or another.
